What’s special about a Catalyst Intern?
One of C4’s center priorities is to build the leaders of the current and next generation. Many companies and organizations offer internships. They allow their interns to get real world experience by working on assignments and doing office work. The work they are allowed to do is valid, and a great experience to the young people who have the opportunity. However, we feel compelled to offer driven young adults something different, something more. As a Catalyst intern, you will be able to gain the practical experience of office tasks and assignments, but also be given the opportunity to learn how to successfully lead a nonprofit organization by having actual influence within The C4 Group.
One former Catalyst intern summed up well what sets Catalyst apart: “Interns are rarely given the opportunity to have both hands-on experience and influence within an organization. Working with The C4 Group, I’ve been fortunate to have both.”
What all Interns can expect:
- Practical career training in a professional atmosphere, including working on specific tangible projects and assignments
- Insight and hands-on engagement on the inner workings of a nonprofit organization
- Regular mentoring and development meetings with executive staff or assigned directors of The C4 Group
- Opportunity to have direct voice and input into the projects and initiatives assigned to help develop
- Reference development, portfolio building, experience and networking for future employment possibilities
- A unique “team model” experience that cares about individuals personally and professionally, we want to see you win!
- A sense of value, appreciation, and contribution during your internship.
