Renee Hipp

AmeriCorps VISTA Site Supervisor

I am currently involved with The C4 Group in leading the AmeriCorps VISTA members that are serving our organization. We have an incredible team of young leaders and it is exciting to help lead and develop this team as they serve communities. My full time job is event planning and I own a company that does events worldwide. I love my work, but I love my family more and enjoy every moment I have with them.  I have an amazing husband, four incredible kids and two wonderful grandchildren that are the joys of my life. I love to travel to new places, drink a good cup of coffee, and enjoy the sun by the ocean.

Everett Pauls

Everett Pauls

Hello, My name is Everett Pauls. I am serving at The C4 Group’s national office working on volunteer efforts with our partner organizations. I moved from Springfield, MO to Issaquah, WA where I will complete my year service. I love being active outdoors, so I keep a bit of trail mix near me and a pine air freshener hanging in my cubical to bring the outdoors in! My goal as an AmeriCorps VISTA will be to improve the local communities by developing systems and relationships to increase the long-term connections between community stakeholders. This is accomplished through sustained, effective programming and development of best practices that can be implemented through The Care Strategy in communities across the country.

Hey I’m Rose Waller and will be working in The C4 Group’s national offices over the next year as the National VISTA for National Care Strategy Development. I grew up most of my life in Redmond, WA.  I moved to Olympia to attend Evergreen State College to peruse a bachelor’s degree focused in Psychology and Social Justice.  I am excited to be living in the Seattle area once again and serving the community I grew up in and love.

I am currently working towards receiving my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, as well as pursuing opportunities with the United States Air Force. As my service with AmeriCorps VISTA, education, and the pursuit involvement with the military, I enjoy time with my friends, sports and, education. I am currently working with the C4 Group while serving on the Community Dinners staff throughout the greater Seattle area. Community Dinners is engrained in five different and distinct communities within the North Seattle neighborhoods. The formula for Community Dinners is simple; establish themselves within a community and provide a free catered meal for those that are living in poverty, urban isolation, or simply for those that want to stop by volunteer or share a meal with new friends.

Hello! My name is Julia Cain and I am currently serving as the AmeriCorps VISTA member representing Jubilee Reach in their Sports Operations in Bellevue, WA. Due to the decrease in funding, most sports and afterschool activities are being reduced in Bellevue, and Jubilee Reach is able to provide funding, support, and programming to those in need. I look forward to working with you to better help the needs of our community!

I am working at Jubilee REACH in partnership with The C4 Group. I work within the area of Volunteer Recruitment and Leadership Development. I am from beautiful, sunny Denver, Colorado. I graduated two years ago with a Worship Arts Degree from Oral Roberts University. I have an amazing, loving family and I recently married the love of my life and my best friend, Justin Luke Riley. My passion is to bring hope to those who have lost it and be the hands and feet that meet their needs both tangible and intangible. In my spare time I enjoy singing, song writing, hanging out with friends and family, shopping, working out and traveling.

The C4 Group engaged six VISTA members in 2010-2011. This incredible opportunity afforded five of our Care Strategy partner organizations in four states with a full time volunteer focusing on their community efforts. We were awarded the grant again for 2011-2012 and our partners and The C4 Group are privileged to be working with this great group of volunteers.
Th
The Points of Light Institute and HandsOn Network have awarded The C4 Group with the privilege of being a HandsOn Corps VISTA host site. The HandsOn Network AmeriCorps VISTA program provides an opportunity to have focused community impact, which will be sustained past the VISTA’s year of service. The program engages VISTA members in service to mobilize local communities around critical issues and challenges in the areas of Education, Economy, and the Environment. Members identify, train, and manage volunteer leaders who will then develop and manage high quality, impact-driven projects, engaging others and further enabling the critical work of grassroots nonprofit organizations.
