Building a Bridge from Belief to Engagement: A tool for utilizing Oprah Winfrey’s Belief Series to foster collaborations across sectors to meet needs in community.
We have been inspired to facilitate and to hear about the myriad of conversations the Belief videos have fostered and the pathway it provides to convene individuals from all backgrounds. The Belief series mobilized people across the nation in acts of compassion and healing. We are confident that the important messages in these videos will continue to serve as a catalyst to cultivate ongoing dialogues and positive actions.
Our team resonates with the intent of the Belief series – creating common ground and connection. It is in sync with our model for community engagement. The C4 Group’s Care Strategy rallies around a virtue-based model providing the permission for partnership across sectors. As we work with organizations across the country, we have discovered that collaboration is key to meeting the scale of needs in community and to diminish the silos that often keep communities separated. Our focus is to help organizations impact culture by improving their communities by connecting the key solution providers.
Our collaborative community engagement model builds a bridge from belief to engagement. There is an opportunity to translate the message of the Belief series into strategic partnerships meeting needs in community.
We have developed this tool to help individuals and organizations further the efforts of the Belief series through tangible action steps in making a positive impact in their communities. The following pages highlight: Unlikely Allies, The Virtue Model, and 6 Steps of Building a Bridge from Belief to Engagement through Collaboration and Strategic Partnerships.
Together, we can accomplish greater things than we could ever do on our own.
